Raised in Albany, OR. He graduated from Wset Albany high and was involved in wrestling, football, basketball, and was the student body class vice president .He attended O.S.U.'s pre-med. program and later married Carolyn Mielke they had 2 children Lisa and Christopher.They were marries 21 years. Mike became a realtor in 1980. he later became Realtor of the year,Owned his own firm, and was involved in various organizations such as The Eagles,The Elks, and the Optomists club. He was a wonderful father to Lisa and chris. He was always fair,sometimes scarry,but funny and reliable to always be there when we needed him!! from 2000 to 2008 he and Lisa worked together at Wines realty.Lisa cherishes those wonderful years and learned so much from him! He has 4 beautiful grandchildren. Cody,Kealy,Brayden,and Kavan. Mike cherished life and lived it to its fullest! He loved fishing, golfing (when he played well),playing pool, riding motorcycles,camping, boating, cooking,and most of all spending great times with his friends and family! He was usually the life of the party and was always smiling and making everyone else laugh.He was a man one could always count on and had a knack for knowing just what to say and do to help others.He was smarter and whittier than most.He was cherished and loved more than most! he is so very missed! his absence is so very apparent and hard for those that were lucky enough to have loved him!! Mike faught a courageous battle with heart disease! To the end he never complained, he faught hard to live and died peacefully with many who loved him near. To our Dad, son, grandpa, and friend, may you be fishing with the angels right now!! We love you so!!We will miss and cherish you always!
